Frequently Asked Questions

The MBA degree is awarded directly by KEDGE Business School, France. It is not a certification, pathway program or an Indian degree carrying the KEDGE name. JAGSoM co-delivers the learning in India as a KEDGE-approved academic partner.
The program is not delivered entirely through recorded content. It combines live virtual classes, asynchronous international coursework, face-to-face teaching, practical masterclasses, leadership workshops and a faculty-defended capstone project. Participants complete 500 hours of learning, including 128 hours of live classes, 280 hours of self-paced modules and 14 on-campus teaching days.
Academic rigour depends on what participants must produce, not simply where they attend class. Here, the final capstone requires applied research, a literature review, quantitative and qualitative analysis and an oral defence before a faculty jury. Both successful submission and defence are mandatory for graduation.
Its international character comes from the awarding institution, faculty, curriculum and academic standards rather than compulsory relocation. Participants study international business, geopolitics, multicultural negotiation, global strategy and cross-border management with KEDGE faculty and KEDGE-approved professors. However, the brochure does not claim that the program includes an overseas immersion.
It is built for professionals who already have workplace context and are ready to move towards broader leadership responsibilities. Applicants require at least three years of professional experience, while the curriculum focuses on strategic thinking, change management, leadership, negotiation, finance and business transformation rather than entry-level management fundamentals alone.
AI is approached from the perspective of business leadership. Participants learn to apply generative AI across marketing, finance, HR and operations, automate workflows, evaluate ROI and understand adoption risks. A separate module covers responsible AI, including bias, accountability, regulatory compliance, model risk and enterprise governance, without requiring prior coding expertise.
Application is built into multiple parts of the program. Participants analyse business situations, work with data, develop strategic responses, complete practical masterclasses and undertake a capstone connecting learning across subjects. Personal-development interventions also include simulations, role-plays, pressure-management workshops and ongoing peer and faculty feedback.
The program is co-delivered by KEDGE faculty and professors approved by KEDGE. The teaching network includes academics and practitioners from KEDGE Business School in France alongside JAGSoM faculty with experience across business, consulting, research, AI, marketing, finance and operations.
The brochure does not promise a placement, promotion or salary outcome. It does include targeted coaching, leadership development, faculty and peer feedback and career-project support. The program is therefore designed to strengthen a professional’s capability and credibility, while the eventual career outcome will also depend on experience, performance and how the learning is applied.
Admission goes beyond checking academic marks. Candidates require a bachelor’s degree, at least three years of work experience, English proficiency and satisfactory performance in JAGMAT or a KEDGE assessment. The selection process also includes a mini-case presentation and an interview with a faculty and administrative panel, allowing applicants to be assessed on judgement, communication and managerial readiness.
